FollowNation stores Twitch follower history so a channel can keep !followage after Twitch stops providing that date. This page says what we keep.

What we store

When you connect Twitch, we store your Twitch user id, login, and display name. For a channel archive we store each saved follower’s Twitch id, login, display name, and follow date. The follow date is the date Twitch sent, or the time we confirmed the follow if Twitch did not send one.

We store an encrypted Twitch access token and refresh token so we can read the follower list you authorized. We store a sign-in cookie in your browser. It is only used to keep you logged in.

If you pay later, Stripe or PayPal processes the payment. We store the subscription status and their customer id. We do not store your card number.

How we use it

We use this data to copy a follower list, answer !followage, show a follow check on the site, and export a CSV for the channel owner. We do not sell it.

Who can see it

The !followage response for a saved follower is public, the same way a chat command is public. The full follower list is available to the signed-in channel. Twitch receives the login requests you approve. Stripe or PayPal receives payment details if you pay.

How long we keep it

We keep a channel archive while the channel is connected. Disconnecting or asking us to delete the channel removes that archive and the stored Twitch token. The sign-in cookie expires after 14 days, or when you log out.
